Relacing head lamp bulb

Please ignore previous post hit wrong key! :blast

I am trying to get the bulb holder back cover off to get at the bulb but it won't budge! How the feck do you get the dam thing off? I don't want to be haMFISTED AND Break something. is there a knack to this?

From what I can remember for the 1150, you have to twist it and it is a good snug fit. There are a couple of flanges holding it on which is why it needs twisting. There is also not a lot of room for hands in there but is doable.
Hope this helps.

You can just press the connector sides together and pull off the wires then twist the rear housing anticlockwise to release it and get at the lamp. The lamps held in place by the usual wire spring.

Alternatively if you have hands my size you may find it easier to do from the front. Just undo the bolts holding the plastic cover above the lights and the black plastic cover then release the bolts holding the lights and draw them forward. Robert is your dads brother ....... ;)

Thanks guys it is sorted now - and I didn't break anything ...............yet!:)
