Reliability of Gerbing Gloves

My good lady bought a pair of Gerbing heated gloves at the Ally Pally show in 2005, but she is now on her 3rd replacement set, which are already showing signs of going again. The problem is the heating elements in the left glove always fail. Gerbing have replaced them without quibble every time, but it is becoming a real nuisance to keep on sending them back for replacement.

Has anyone else had similar problems with their Gerbing gloves?

i have suffered several Gerbings heat controller failures.

Don't know about the gloves, but my Gerbing jacket has just given up the ghost after using it less than 10 times!!!!!!!!

Oh, and the place I bought it from has gone t*ts up too!!!
