Spokes are outside of rim on the bike so tubeless can be used. The gas will be ok but the glue will probably have hardend by now and mabye the plugs. I use the tyre plugger(see previous post) for both cars and bikes although I have previously used rats tails with good results.Ps the gas wont fully inflate ure tyre,folks around here generaly carry a small 12v compressor or small foot pump.I carry a bycicle hand pump. It works but took forever to re inflate tyre and i got bigger biceps than popye.

Thanks THE PICT! Is one cannister alone insufficient, would all three be enough? Seems easier to carry spare gas tubes rather than a compressor.

How to get a tubeless tyre seated after removal if no high pressure air is available.Remove valve core A ten second squirt of butane gas from lighter refill tin into tyre. Throw a lighted piece of paper at it..... BANG!, tyre is ready to inflate. Seen it on telly once, very impressive. Only try this in emergencies or to impress female onlookers.

I just put my small 12volt walmaert compressor on it after about five mins Bang! job done on the 1150 rear. Couldent belive it but all ok.

Pointless using more than two cylinders. After using two the pressure in the tyre is equal to the pressure in the cylinder = air won't go in the tyre .
