having recently purchased a 2004 R1150GS that came with a toolkit & a Rema Tiptop puncture repair kit, I've checked the kit and the gas cartridges are from 2003 but I'm assuming age for them isn't an issue as they look to be in good nick.
However the rubber bung things and the tube of glue don't have any dates on them so I've no idea how old they are.
would it be a good idea to replace them just in case? if so, any ideas where to buy replacements parts for the kit?

Cheers ;-)

I have never had much success with these. My recommendation would be sticky strings. Tubes of glue easy to find on eBay or cycle shop.

Think you may find the glue is empty. Will be a perfect tube shape, but it always seems to magically disappear. Get some new just in case.

I have 22 year old kit that came with my R850R classic, I looked at replacing the glue last year and spotted a company in the middle of nowhere down in the south west that did it and lots of other tyre fitting stuff. I found them on EBAY but didn't proceed as my mate sold all of this bike kit and I bought his to build a composite kit with glue, stings and rubber bungs.
