Rexxer remap JHP Racing Ducati Coventry

Took my 56 plated GS to DUCATI COVENTRY, JHP Racing last Friday for Rexxer ECU Re flash. WOW what an experience arrived at 930 am after leaving home at 6 am to a very warm welcome from everyone there.John Hackett gave me a quick guided tour of the workshops and what i would call an operating theatre where they rebuild engines... i handed over my gs.
To the very capable technical hands of Rick... Who returned it to me sometime later, after explaining what they had done. "downloaded my ecu so that if i wasn't happy they could reload it, then put it on the Dyno, then remapped it with rexxer ecu reflashing, then running it on the dyno again"(will put print out from Dyno with bhp and toque readouts when i can work out how to do it!!!) Then i went for a short spin to see how much difference it had made. I was very impressed, what a difference it felt so much smoother and had much more grunt, but i didn't know the road too well so didn't want to push my luck,40 mph speed limits everywhere. So i headed for the motorway home, the difference was more noticeable 2 and 1/2 hours later when i hit my local twisty roads that i know like the back of my hand. It seemed to have totally transformed the bike i was amazed. Even more so how the engine responded even to the most gentle twist of the throttle, so much smoother and gruntier than before,it feels like it has another gear. So a big Thank you very much to all at JHP Racing at Ducati Coventry for making it a pleasurable experience. At a very reasonable price.

Sounds like the business, can I ask how much it cost?

in 2011 we did have a bug with the dyno software that's why it went from sae to isa this will make a difference of about 2.3 bhp on top end ,when im doing the live mapping on the dyno i can see the live output on the monitor ,since then you will see all my printouts are in ISA ,On some days there is a also a "higher" or "lower" atmospheric pressure too! So when the pressure is "high" your engine will make more power so the dyno shows your 100 BHP engine is now 104 BHP... So we now need another formula that corrects the measured power for atmospheric pressure variations too! So we use another "correction" so that your engine will now read 100 BHP regardless of both air temperature, or atmospheric pressures.

In addition Humidity makes a "very small" difference too! But this is usually ignored by most manufacturers. So we will too. It is worth mentioning though that humid air actually costs power, rather than the common belief that it helps! It doesn't. It replaces part of the air/oxygen in the atmosphere.

ps i will just add that the mapinging that i do is LIVE on the dyno "NOT A GENERIC MAP THAT WILL BE OVERWRITTEN ON A SERVICE!!" i also use a self learning system in the ecu not a fixed map unlike others that use the one map fits all option as this is not the best way to go as all engines are different .
i did say in my other post that i will not post but i need to clear this up for more help plz call me, and a big thank you to all on the forum for the positive remarks that you have give me in the last 3y and the 300 and couting bmw's, ride safe geoff from hilltop:friday

will put print out from Dyno with bhp and toque readouts when i can work out how to do it!!!

Could you post the before and after peak BHP and Torque figures , Ta :beerjug:

just a quick observation from https://shop.daniele-moto.de/artikelliste.aspx?su=ZU-RV01
