Hello all,

have pranged my gsa---it has the wide engine prot bars fiited---the right side has bent into the rocker cover----have removed most of it but need to know how to get the bolt out of the bar that extends out perpendicular to the bike frame. I've removed the rubber end bung and seen a allen bolt at the end of the bar tube but the bar is bent and standard allen key won't reach--

Just use a long reach T-bar, with an allen bit, should reach it;)

Not sure what you mean.

The standard allen key won't reach because of it's length or because of the bend?

If it's a length problem, then as TEESTAR says, a T-Bar allen key should do.

If it's the shape of the tube then hacksaw the bend off or straighten it [heat?] until the T-Bar or allen key reaches.

I know what you mean - tube is about a foot long, and you can't get an extension bar down it, because it's bent -

Hit it with a hammer and straighten out till you can get the extention bar down -

I love these technical questions :D

I shpeck you`ve already got them off by now. Any one suggest the hack saw method? Cut bars close to frame and the bolt will be accesible.
