removing badges etc.

Is there a way of removing the badges without destroying them and the rubber 'seat seal'

Silly question maybe - but I'm unsure how the badges are fixed

same goes for the seal.

Decals seem a doddle... but theyre for the bin anyway.

After removal (and after NYD) tank will be resprayed... so I'm not too concerned about damaging the paint.

You`ll get the tank badges off with some dental floss used like a saw.

Won`t damage the tank.

The badge is a very thin metal backed with a sticky pad which won`t be reuseable.
If you don`t distort the badges they could be reused if stuck with silicone or other adheshive but they`re not very dear and they`re available from the likes of Motorworks and Moto Bins.

Thanks for that... I know they're fairly cheap - but these are mint and seems a shame to bin them - just for the lack of a little care.

I guess the seat seal is the same...

yes... I got them off no problem - the difficult choice was to use the waxed or non waxed.

but they came off no prob.. which has saved me £15 or so.
