Removing that rear whatsit

I'd like to take the black wheel protection thingy of the GS, and know there's some sort of small plate to put in it's place on the bevel box. Problem is, any idea what it's called or what I should look for in trawling the eBay and vendor ads?

Touratech do a plate but why not save the beer tokens and just put a couple of cap heads in the holes to keep the threads clean

Have a look on motorworks site under r1150 bevel box parts. There is a pic on there. Maybe cheaper from bmw.

As Colt said, MBW do a little black plastic one.

Or just take it off and put some grease in the holes?
