I’ve just removed the original mount from my RS12 as I’m moving to XT.
I’d studied online info to remove the key barrel and was half way to filing down a locksmith tumbler key tool when I found that I only had to remove the small black cover from the rear of the mount then simply spring the locking wafer with a pointy stick and the barrel assembly popped out. Happy bunny.
