I had a squeaky noise from the clutch on my 05 1200GS. I am not using the bike so I decided to pull the gearbox (second time).
Its a non ABS bike and I had the gearbox on the floor in 1 hour. I bet a BMW service engineer does it in half the time.
The front half of the bike must be securly supported.
The only fiddlely bit was levering out the drive shaft.
Lots of cable ties to cut, take lots of photos.
The rest is easy.
I am going to put in a new clutch plate. I will time the reassembly.

Had the wife help me the first time but this time I had the bike well clamped down. I drilled 2 holes in a piece of angle and bolted it where the bash plate goes on. It is essential to have the bike secure it is dead weight when you wheel away the rear end.
No neet to remove the front wheel, I nicked it for my GSA while the GSA wheel is away for truing.
