That's not mine, it's ssi's from his two pics above. Mine's identical to that though. ISTR that they changed the angle of the dangle to prevent overheating panniers and melting number plates.

That pic has the Cat still fitted. The other one I posted has the Remus headers on as well. No problems with panniers no plate etc.

IIRC, the original BMW panniers didn't have a heat shield on the nearside pannier.

Yes it is, one of the original ones which were non adjustable for angle, really liked it but changed to the Migsel mount a few weeks ago to get better adjustment.

Personally I find the GPS munted above the clocks is a lot easier to read than on the bar mount BM style.

Same here, Michels mount is THE top kit for a 12 GPS make no mistake
