REMUS EXHAUST SIZE????

Hiya all, lookin at possibly sellin me BMW akrapovic exhaust and swapping to the REMUS with REMUS headers, can someone just confirm for me please, the pictures I can find on google of the BLACK REMUS can for the LC GSA seem to show the can with a big gap between the top edge of the can and the frame(bike side on) if this makes sense, I can also seem to see that the can appears to be smaller than the AKRAPOVIC or again is this just an optical illusion, all thoughts appreciated

anything I can find on google images by searching "black remus on bmw r1200 gsa lc, but to be fare its the same watching youtube videos, just looks as if the can is too far away from the frame compared to the akrapovic, or is this an optical illusion???

theres nothing wrong with the akra can as such, its just that ever since I fitted it, apart from the fact it does look and sound the bollox I cant honestly say that I was completely satisfied with it, what I mean is, yes its a lot lighter than the stock can, but its also a lot bigger, then theres the sound, if I'm honest there isn't any major difference over the standard can, so then theres the cost, was it worth the money, I dunno, jurys still out on that one, also I intended to change the headers to a Ti set, now I knew they wernt cheap, but getting hold of a set is provin a bit of a pain in the arse, don't get me wrong this will change I know with new stock coming thru, its just that because of this it has forced me to look at other options, and I cant help but think now ive looked that the remus black can with the remus headers is a better for cheaper option possibly for starters it looks like a smaller can, then theres the ease of cleaning, as much as I like titanium I'm always wary of touchin it, but the more I look at the remus end can, is it me or does it sit too far away from the frame, ie lookin at the bike side on if that makes sense, this is all I'm after really, somebody whos got one already to confirm this if possible or even give me a measurement so I can compare with the akra

hiya mate, thanks for the offer but what I'm after tho is the measurement really or even a "real" picture of the black remus can on a gs/gsa as Ive already got the akra can, just want to compare really, I could be tempted to just sell the akra can and put the difference in money to the remus can and headers, what stops me though is the pictures I can find of the black remus can seem to show that the can sits too far from the frame for my liking(lookin at the bike side on that is), it could just be optical illusion? I dunno??

is that the remus headers in stainless steel you've got then???, were on each others doorsteps to be fare as I'm only up in colley gate

it doesn't matter about splitting hairs over the weight, the point is, as I said before admittedly it looks and sounds the bollox, but it aint all that is it, when you look at how much we pay for em, anyway can we please get this thread back on track, is there anybody out there with the black remus can and headers???
