Remus header pipes

I have a 2009 1200GS (SE) and recently bought a second hand set of Remus header pipes apparently from a 2009 1200GSA. Just looking at them before fitting I notice the sensor points are in a different position than on the standard headers.
Can anyone confirm that this is ok and the Remus headers should fit? Having looked at photos of the Remus header on Nippys website the sensors do appear to be positioned as per the OEM, hence the doubt.
Any constructive comments/advice would be appreciated.

Is yours the new spec engine?

Not sure what you mean by new spec, its just the special edition 1200GS that was launched last summer.

I was thinking that it was the new GS with the HP2 motor.

The lamda sensor points should be in the same place as the OE headers. If they are slightly out, sit shouldn't be a problem so you could just offer them up and see what happens.

Have you checked with the guy you bought them from that they fitted his OK

Yes, but his was a GSA and I wasnt sure whether it had the sensors in a different position. Having searched this site before posting this question I did notice a photo of a GSA fitted with the same headers with the sensors in the same position as mine, what I am not clear on is whether in standard form the GSA has the sensors positioned in the same place as a normal GS.

I too brought a 2009 SE and tried to fit the Remus headers from my 2005 GS. The main stand would not fit with these headers. When checking the Remus parts list they do not show headers for after 2005/6 model GS

I brought some new headers from Keinan and all was well.

Maybe the adventure front pipes are different and you will have no problems?
