just been fettling in my workshop to see if r1200 gs remus headers would fit my hp2 and yes they go straight on ,the only difference that i can see is that the original bmw can has two springs to attatch it to the header collector pipe and the gs is a clamp on .its not too difficult to weld two lugs on to the collector pipe to accomodate the bmw can or the remus /akra can , the gs /remus can seems to be too long from the connection to the mount point but im going to take the dremmel to it this w/e and cut some off of it , i'll keep you posted as to the result
