It's probably a no-brainer but I thought I'd put it up here........

Presumably, if I add remus headers .........my remus end can is going to have its life cut short ?

I do 122miles/day........is it worth having the headers ?

Also - I've noticed more with this new GSA that the Remus Powercone (titanium) nearly stalls more often, ie blips of throttle through traffic can cut it out (or...er....stall, technically speaking). With the Remus headers is this going to be exasperated ?

As I say.....I think I know the answer but, as allows, happy to listen to opinions :augie

Any headers give you a power boost of around 5% so they are worth the money. The end can does nothing for performance but makes a nice noise.

Not heard of your stalling issues though but I`m led to believe the latest motor runs very lean. It may be worth get it checked on a dyno and fitting a Power Commander:thumb

I have remus headers and a powercone fitted, great noise with the baffles out, and it has never stalled :)

The stalling is just me........blipping the throttle for the sound I'm afraid and then the revs falling quickly etc etc.

I'm more interested in the impact on the end pipe to be honest. I'd have thought that, as the cat would no longer be bearing the brunt of the heat, the end can would deteriorate quicker ?

I changed the wadding in my last powercone at around 30,000miles but I was told it should be every 10k or so........mind you, I wont be changing it again as there was bugger all difference and the blu-ing was looked find on the titanium.
