Remus or Bos Full System

Sorry i know this subject has been done to death.....But help needed

I can't decide which way to go. I Like the Bos, from the reviews i've read it sounds like a good system with more power and torque than the Remus.
But having had Remus systems on other bikes in the past( great quality ect), and particularly the fact the titanium looks sooo good i can't decide!?!

Has anyone tried both or had chance to compare both systems?

I'm talking long term ownership with my GS had it 2 years and dont want /can't afford to change it for a long time, so need the system to be durable as well as funky!

Hi Luddfooter,
I've had both systems and I prefer the BOSS. I think the quality of the BOSS is better. However, having said that there is not a lot between either system , it's just down to personal preference. Good luck with your choice.

When you say the Bos is better do you mean in performance terms as well as quality? The Remus is obviously a more commen fitment at the moment...(bm dealers stock them ect)....

I have a BOS system (and am very pleased with it).

When I was thinking of buying a GS I had a test bike for a day from Pidcocks that was fitted with a Remus system.
One thing I really noticed with it was the tone/drone the pipe made at 70/80mph cruising. I really hated it and found it extremely irritating after a time - I'd hate to do an all day M-way blast with one.
It was nothing to do with volume (I like loud pipes) and everything to do with the sound of the pipe if that makes sense?

It's probably just me but I have noted a few other similar comments on this board before.

Whatever, they are both good quality systems so you can't really go wrong with either

you need the extension piece and a metal number plate with the remus

if you dont it will melt your number plate (do a search)

got a full system second hand if i was paying for new i think i would get something else

but i do like the bangs when going slow and quickly shutting the throttle off
dont think the fuelling is as good as they say

wife dosnt like the baffle removed says to noisy

like i say id get something else or spend the money on fitting a propper set of xenon lights as the exhaust dosnt make that much differance and the lights do on a night and when filtering its like moses and the red sea
