Remus revolution, legal or not?

Hi All

I have to have the accident damage inspected on my bike. I was going to put the standard can back on to avoid any confusion over wheather the can is legal or not.

Does anyone know for certain if the Revolution is road legal (baffle in) or not?

it's supposed to be, it's E marked.

having said that, i've got one & cannot believe it would pass a db meter test. it's pretty loud

The legality of the can isn't really the issue if your insurance company is inspecting the bike. The issue is whether you told them you'd fitted it in the first place - they can get very awkward about settlement if you've modified the bike without telling them. We all do it, though.....

If it was me I'd re-fit the standard can (not to mention the standard wheels.....) before the inspector came knocking on the door.
