The Rivet-Free Revolution

Do you make a fitting kit for a 2023 Africa Twin Adventure Sports 1100?
Yes, we definitely cater to the 2023 Africa Twin Adventure Sports 1100. 🛡️
We offer a dedicated fitting kit designed to handle the weight and vibrations of off-road riding. Our panniers mount securely to the racks, ensuring everything stays rock-solid even on the toughest trails.
Are you looking for the complete setup (racks + cases) or just the mounting pucks for existing racks? I can send you some photos of the ATAS setup if you’d like to see how they sit on the bike.
Best regards

Hi thanks, I currently have the OEM plastic panniers which are a neat design needing no pannier frame, but not very robust at all so I've been contemplating replacing them with aluminium ones. Would love to see some photos of your frames and boxes on an Africa Twin

To give you an idea of how our gear looks on an Africa Twin, here are some photos of a custom top case we built for an older AT model.

Since these photos were taken, we’ve upgraded our workshop with latest-generation equipment, which allows for even higher precision in our 2mm aluminum builds. For the 2023 Adventure Sports, the fitment is even more refined, following the bike's lines perfectly.
Our current fitting kits for the 1100 ATAS are designed for heavy-duty use. Would you like me to check the lead time for a full set?

Hi everyone,
I wanted to show you some recent work from our workshop. We’ve been developing a set of panniers designed specifically for riders who find the standard 1.5mm cases a bit too thin for serious adventure.
These are built from 2mm structural aluminum for maximum rigidity. Everything is handmade, from the laser cutting to the final powder coating.
The Two Looks:
Full Stealth Black: For those who want that clean, integrated look on their GS.
Racing Red Accents: For a bit of contrast that stands out on the trail.
Why we went with 2mm? Most cases on the market compromise on thickness to save weight, but we wanted something that can actually take a 100kg stress test (yes, we actually stood on them!) without buckling.
We use stainless steel hardware to keep them corrosion-free—essential for those rainy UK tours. 🌧️🛡️
Since we are a small boutique shop, we can customize the dimensions and colors to fit your specific bike or rack setup.
I’d love to hear your feedback. Which one would you pick for your rig: Black or Red?
Cheers from Transylvania! 🇷🇴

was about to say the same. a lot of rivets for a "rivet free revolution"!

That said look like strong boxes and well built.

OK I know I'm being pedantic but they don't quite look 'rivet free' to me.
I totally get the 'pedantic' side—details are what make or break a build! 🤝
To clarify: the main structure is fully welded for maximum strength. The rivets you see are only used to attach the nylon corner protectors and the latches. We chose rivets for those specific parts so they can be easily replaced if you ever have a 'oops' moment on the trail.
But when it comes to the actual strength of the 'rivet-free' welded body, here’s a quick look at our 'standard' QC test [atașează poza 2244.jpg].
2mm structural aluminum and solid welds—it’s built to be a tank, not just a box. 😉

I hear you! But here is why we call it a revolution:

Take a look at the corners. That’s a deep-penetration weld, not a seam held together by a row of rivets. In a traditional pannier, those rivets are structural—if they vibrate loose or shear off, the box falls apart.
In our build, the rivets you see on the outside are only for the plastic bumpers and hardware. The 'skeleton' of the box is a single, solid piece of welded aluminum.
We believe in welding for strength and rivets for easy-to-replace parts. Best of both worlds! 🛠️💪

Whoa, steady on, I'm just thinking at the moment, not ready to order yet 😁

Haha, no worries at all! 🍻
Take your time. Half the fun of a new setup is the planning and 'window shopping' phase.
I'm just here to share what we’re building and help with any technical questions if you get stuck during your research. Whenever you're ready to talk specs or custom ideas, the door is always open. 🏍️💨

Some here will ‘buy’ the expensive bike on PCP and then scour China for every cheap and copy item they can find, delivered to their door within days.

They’ll also moan that anything else is a rip-off.
