Exhaust arrived today bunked off work this afternoon to fit it, fitted no probs took about an hour start to finish, sounds great looks great but the biggest change is the weight you can really feel the bike is lighter and the best thing is the lumpy throttle responce has gone it feels as smooth as silk sat in traffic 20-30 mph couldnt believe it, its transformed the bike What a result

Well for £430+ delivery I suppose it had to do something apart from look good !!!!

I am seriously thinking of ordering this having seen it at the bike show in November.

One thing that is holding me back, Can you (or the MOT guy) see the wording 'Not for Road use?'

Did you need to put the akrapovic mapping on or are you running the standard map? Have u got a pic of the side where there is no can? I will have to save up but I want to stick the extra tank that adventurespec sell in the space!

Dolly there is no markings on it at all, so no worries with mot, as my guy said they are not looking for markings now, they use a DB meter if its not over the limit it passes, Im running the STD map which seems to be more than ok for the can but I have bought 2 O2 eliminators which ill try to fit tonight if I can find the bottle to remove the tanks !!!, ive used them before on a load of different bikes and they do seem to work but if it gets any smoother ill think im riding a 1200 bandit lol

Ridden about 200 miles with it on so far and got to say I think its worth every penny so far id highly recommend one :thumb Ill get some more piccies over the weekend and post them up

Another 120 miles of very tentertive riding today damp and icey country ride after fitting the o2 eliminators fitted last night and im glad to say its as smooth as silk such a difference, anyway heres a couple of pics from different angles as requested

Hi A B

I have a KTM SMT:D do you know if this would fit my machine, or could you give me details where you bought it, so I could check it out.

Cheers Bob.

Hi Bob
I am sure it will fit your SMT as the only reason you cant fit SMT cans on an Adventure is that the SMT cans are slip on and The Adventure are the 3 bolt fixing but as you are changing to the 2 into 1 the can is a slip on
so my take on it is that it will fit no probs
Got mine from here Linky
