Seen a few of the steel "stubbys" looked rubbish, thought I would have a go. Remus Titanium bought from this parish last week, shortened down to 10" refitted end flange and retaining strip.
Looks the muts nuts, and makes both sides look balanced.
The Remus they should have made.
Next: twin shotguns a la 1200 for the 1150

It looks okay but kind of defeats the purpose of a stubby as it still has a can and you can't use a full size left pannier.

May sound nice with the cat removed though as a stubby too loud when cat removed:augie

Looks Ok eh?
Cat is removed and sounds superb,
In my opinion a stubby ... [sorry a piece of bent tailpipe really] looks crap, no engineering, no quality, looks like a 50p replacement answer, which it is. :augie:augie:augie

Now my "shortie" on the other hand!!! [but i would say that wouldn't I] :hide

Oh and Cheers Steve for uploading for me. Much appreciated
And BTW: you can get a full size pannier on :comfort

my solution was this

RE Noise

Hi Nomad,
In comparison:
I have run my GSA for 2 years on Remus carbon without baffle.
Tried the "Shortie" without baffle for 200 mile trip Friday without baffle also.
It is louder, so I have put baffle in and well pleased now, about same as Remus without but more of a "rasp" than a "grrr"!
Hope this helps,
if you need demo I can email a sound clip. PM me your email.
Regards
Paul RB

WHY?

Go down the page and click upload file, easy...

no offence but the OP is a computer newbie and would apear to have a decent camera. Ie, the pix are too big for the server to accept. otherwise, we'd all be cursing and loving the occasional photographs beauty.

Photobucket is good. It will make a 'web friendly' version of the pix for you no drama involved. You just have to copy and paste the web url into the box that opens when you click the little yellow, 'landscape' box that is above window that opens when you 'reply to post'.

Anyone want to sell richie a cheap digital camera?

Excuse bitchiness btw, servo gone here and pissed off because there is no more wine.
