Seeing as most of the BM dealers have been supplying them I would not like to think so!

Strictly speaking any alteration from the bikes original design could be a get out clause for a warranty claim, but any "decent" dealer would apply some sommon sense I'm sure.

My dealer used to supply Remus but switched to Laser after alignment problems, I would not expect any issues if I had a Remus fitted.

I was told by dealer that fitting a remus y piece (which they had previously sold me) to my 1150 could cause problems with the can hanger mount -some have been found to crack with this set up. Also told that as this is due to the fitment of a non standard i.e. non BMW part if this problem did occured itwouldn't be covered as a warranty issue.

Tell the whole story properly Ade ! wot i told you was that if people fitted the y piece and the std BMW end can then it was that configuration that can lead to the mounting bracket on the subframe breaking because the y piece is not strong enough to cope with the weight of the can plus the remus end can apart from being of a much lighter construction has more scope for alignment to the y piece.
