Thanks very much,
Could you please let me if you have fitted a bar and if so
which type you fitted.
Is there any difficulties in fitting any tips please.
Thanks for taking time to respond.
Cheers Tony

Search for Renthals, go to about the 5th page of the results and a thread by Tobers about Renthals and oem bar weights. :thumb
Can't do a link on this stupid iPad!

Iv fitted a windham bend bar but by a different manufacturer no pit falls all comes apart with a Torx key set you need a Torx socket for the main bar clamps but change them for stainless Allen keys much more user friendly you will have to drill two small holes for the left grip & switch that's how it fits on I did also mod the handguards & took a bit off each side of screen BUT that's only cos I wanted lower bars you'd prob be ok if you want to use standard hight or risers.

I fitted the RC 604-01 renthals a couple of weeks ago.
I made some inserts to fit the end weights rather than rawlbolt type expanders but either will work.
I've ended up narrowing the bars by 25mm each side as I found it a bit of a stretch when pulling out of junctions using lots of lock, it feels much better to me :-)
some pics of how it looked before I narrowed them here

Mine are just under 13mm but that's the normal ones fitted on my Yamaha & the dia of bars that's now on GS

The internal diameter of the fat bars I used was 14.2 mm which can be tapped straight out to M16, hence the inserts I used were made from an M16 bolt drilled & tapped to M12.
I'm too tight to buy bits when I can make them quickly and I have the tools to do it :-)
