Replaced batteries in cordless mouse.....

Yes I know, me and computers dont mix, but any ideas pls?

Yes it has a little button underneath. But I have tried that and nothing happens.

Its a Targus PAUM006 cordless mouse if that helps, but I doubt it.

The bit that plugs into the USB at the rear, looks like it has a LED on it, but I have not seen that illuminate at all yet.

Mind you, I cannot remember seeing it lit when it was working either.

Does the USB receiver have a little reset button too ? On my old one I had to press them both to reset them.

Spot on there MJS, you have to press the LED down on the USB thingey as well.
