Checking with 'works and 'bins for these, I discovered they cost over £30 ... EACH!

Does anyone know of cheaper options?

Wemoto stock a large range of fork gaiters. Check your internal top and bottom diameter and overall length. The last set I bought for a GS we’re slightly long but looked ok when fitted.

Most of the after market gaiters only last a couple of years before splitting

Thanks all. I checked with BMW. £40 each ordered from Germany! Makes Mw and 'bins look like a bit of a bargain!

Indeed, but how long have the OE parts lasted? your cheap parts may only last half as long ..

Was it something like this you wanted.

Ive had two pairs for my G/S's , one from an expensive German supplier and one pair from BMW .
The difference is that the aftermarket ones are made from thermoplastic rubber and the BMW one are made from rubber.
With getting technical the thermoplastic rubber does not have the elongation properties that the rubber does , so they will be stiffer and fail much quicker.

Ive decided that i will not buy and plastic or rubber parts from "works" or "bins" without checking BMW first.

Stick with the OEM parts
