Hi all
I’m considering replacing the gear lever on my 1992 R 100 GS.
It’s approaching 90K and there’s a lot of lateral play in the lever ( worn bush I guess).
Motorworks do two replacements, One with a needle roller bearing which is what I’m contemplating.
Not a lot of room as I have lowered footrests and a Migsel sidestand.
Recently completed a >2K miles trip but change was rather sloppy .
Gearbox fine having been through Voyager’s and Mikeyboy’s hands.
Any observations welcomed!

Well it’s done , and even better I did it myself!!!
12mm socket ideal size for drifting old bush out with the aid of hot air gun.
Old bush ideal size for pressing new bush in (with the aid of freezer and vice)
Gearchange transformed for minimal cost - Cheers Mike!👍
