What symptoms were you getting?

Brake failure, lighting up in red on the right hand side of the dash. Switching off bike and restarting would clear it only for it to re-appear randomly then becoming more and more often. Giving the abs motor housing a tap with a piece of wood would also clear it for a while. Plugging in gs911 would show something like power supply failure to abs pump.
This led me to believe that the common problem of the brushes sticking was occurring.
Bought a second hand unit but had read about the unit needing re-coding to keep the bike's computer happy, so that's why I thought I'd swap the module off my unit onto the replacement.
Obviously if it's the module rather than the motor that's faulty then you'll still have the problem.

Hi Steve - can I get a quote to Check/ repair my ABs unit if I send it off to you?

I am getting 23952 Front wheel speed sensor no signal electrical fault

I have replaced the sensor with new from BMW and checked the rear too

Tried replacing the unit with the same part number but no success either and have another fault about coding

Tried swapping the New motor part of the ABS unit with the electric ECU part from the old unit.

No joy.

I’m giving up! And going to accept no ABS and presumably traction control. Oh well.

On another note the lighter click thing on the fuel strip did the job well and it’s working again!

Maybe the new/used motor had the same problem or the problem was on the electronic part of your old one?
Good to hear the trick with the fuel strip worked though :thumb2
