Looks like KTM have the problem too - clearly a serious design fault.

Call me a cynic but that looks staged to me :augie

Isn't that a old style instrument surround by the cars wheel ?

Looks like the headlight surround to me.

Shouldn’t the KTM’ists be concentrating on their navigation, road sign recognition and buoyancy calculations

Calm down, calm down, the message I saw implied the forks collapsed, it didn't show any other vehicle.

There is no need to get all defensive, and there is no need to assume everyone is out to discredit the bike. As it happens I'm currently looking at buying a R1250GSA Rallye TE. At least now you have confirmed it may not be fork issue, so thanks (I say may, as others have pointed out, the photo showing the collision with the car may have been staged, but who can say for sure?).

Not that I'd have let that influence me, I wasn't overly concerned when there was the issue with the forks on the earlier water cooled models, nor was I panicking when they found loose spokes (and yes, mine did have loose spokes).

Come on, try hiding your insecurities about KTM being the better bikes :comfort

I do find it funny that KTM gets thrown into the mix in these threads. Says a lot. ;)

I suspect it's because a few KTM owners here delight when anything potentially negative is posted and can't resist the opportunity to take a pop - even when something is unproven.

I find it funny that you continue to knock BM'S. It's like you have to do it to convince yourself that buying a KTM was the right thing to do, but you still have a nagging doubt that it wasn't! :augie:comfort:D
