Folks, I had a bit of weirdness earlier. Turned on bike and rev counter didn't respond. Gave if a few blips, no rev counter. Gave it a few more and it was grand. I've had the bike 18 months and it's never done this before.

Did a search but can't seem to find which bit's I should check...I'm hoping it's just a bit of dirt but how does the rev counter work and is there anything I can check with out ripping the bike appart (in my experience - not a good idea - I tend to have to pay people to fix what I try and fixd:hide)

Any tips appreciated.

Wait 'till it doesn't respond. Had the same issue on a K but it was only very occasionally and it never died "forever"...

I'll leave it alone so. I'm hoping I'll have enough time in work today to figure out how it all works. I thought maybe there was something that I could clean and grease and that it sticking was an indication of something that's comming down the line. Cheers for the feedback.
