I am in the Market for a new Suit .
I have good use from Aerostich , they are a great bit of Riding gear .
I was wondering what experiances you lot have had with textile
waterproof suits , what you rate and what you dont ? .

Search is your friend. There are as many threads on the topic as, "What's the best helmet, boots, gloves.......tyres, panniers, oil?"

When you discover, let us know, please.

Our Phil doesn't actually want to buy a new suit .. he's just winding us up :aidan

ya mean you couldn't find Thunders big write up on the Olympia suit and there are plenty of threads with Rukka too

That search button mustn't like you much :D

or are you getting like Intermediate and can't be bothered to look :augie

Can I suggest adding to your list Halvarsons, I just took delivery of a pair of their textile trousers and they seem just a good as any others I have ever owned probably better than some more expensive ones.

A vote for the Rukka Armax suit......:):)

Never lets in a drop !

+1 For Halvarssons; should suit you too as they're generally cheaper than all the others listed and just as good, better in some respects :thumb2

On some occasions , i cant be bothered , but in this instance i tried.
I have Experiance of the Aerostich , I think they are great , and will probably
buy another . I did notice that thunder didnt buy another Olympia ,he
went with the stich !. I have read a little about the Rukka , and the price is
prohibitive. Halvarsons , i didnt tyhink on .
Rev-it , infinity have some lovely colour options ,but what about the Suit ?.
I would be interested in the opinions of the collective , thats all.

I tried a REV_IT at Alfs in Worthing and its a nice bit of kit but so it should be at £750!! easy to put on over yer day clothes and well made.My commute is not enough to warrent one though, for versatility i like my Alpine stars Gortex:thumb2

Hi all,

After much research and comparing prices against reviews I bought a Rev'it Cayenne Pro jacket and trousers today from Bikestop in Stevenage. I will give an update on their performance in the future but have to say that the service at Bikestop was excellent.

BMw does a new suit that's like an aerostich.

It doesn't have the bits on the shoulders and elbows. So it's lighter.

The zips don't go all the way down, so you need to be careful when putting it on ... :blast

Nice suit though! :rob

Did you know most of the BMW suit now DON'T USE Gore-Tex but use a competing membrane by Schoeller. Better breathability.

The new streetguard 3 looks good. Was shown the difference between the streetguard 2, and it's impressive :thumb2

+1 for Bikestop, top service, you can see why that shop wins awards. :thumb
I was in there for the first time a few weeks ago as I have family in Hitchin, could spend a fortune in that shop!

Rukka - five year guarantee is worth it (if you ride every day)

Onyerbike,

I did spend a fortune !!!!!

But they take your money of you so nicely !!!! LOL :)
