Rev'it Off Track + Dakar - which size please???

but trousers seem to leak a little in the under ass area when sitting in prolonged downpours, to be honest it was really hammering it down, I might take the trousers back for a swap, the place i got them from said no problemo.

I had the same problem and on closer inspection of the waterproof liner I noticed the seam tape was not stuck down properly. Got them replaced by Sondel Sport in London and replacement seems okay so far.

I use the Dakar trousers with a HG Cruise jacket and find it a good combination. Use my Dakar trousers most of the time now as it seems to rain every time I go out on the bike. My BMW Summer trousers are having a prolonged rest :(

Suits (non twat)

When you go into the shop, take a pullover with you and put it on. Put the liers in do upthe jacket and either sit in a chair or get onto a crouching position and see how it feels. If it's too tight try a larger size, this the position you'll be using it in so give it a try, dont worry about what the shop thinks your buying with your cash!.
good hunting.

if you wear the right base layers you dont need big jumps
get a snug fit it stops air pockets which when riding keep u cold
i have rukka and rev it both work well if you wear the right type of base layers

At the moment I can't even get to see a Rev'It Cayenne Pro jacket ( in any size !!!) -apparently they are all stuck in a container somewhere in Holland, and no-one knows which one ...that's the story I've been given, so I want to buy a Rev'It, but no chance at the moment. Volunteered to ride over and sort 'em out, but offer not taken up.
Sounds a bit like T5 luggage to me !!!!

I have the Rev'it Off Track Jacket and Dakar Trousers. Unfortunately I have found they are not very water proof. Got wet riding down in Wiltshire over the May Day Bank Holiday. The dealer (Cusworths at Doncaster) contacted Rev'it and had the 'water proof' inner liner replaced. I road back to Lincolnshire from Devon yesterday (25th May) in the rain and got soaked. Is anyone else having water proof problems or is it just me? The suit fits well and looks good, however I need it to be water proof.

xl

definately go larger they both come up smaller than you would think
the armour in the pants is crap even for textiles (moves around)
ive taken out and now use alpinestar flex pads which are knee pad s
max £20 well worth it

Hi John,
I recently got the Cayenne Pro, from Wymondhams near Norwich ... rode back from shop in fairly heavy rain, and have used it several times in the wet - ( Baskerville Rally from Cambridge -rain all the way  )no leaks or anything so far. But, the Cayenne Pro has the pukka Goretex lining, which I think is a slightly upgraded liner from the Off Track ?
However, I don't have rev-It trousers, just some cheap over-trouser from Field & Trek , and they work fine -£12.50 in their sale :thumb2:thumb2:thumb2

Love the jacket, good fit (I'm a 42" chest) and the Rev-It large is just right, so no complaints from me .......yet !!:thumb

Got the Dakar pants last week, had to order them as I had large in long fitting in black, took 3 weeks to arrive, and first impressions are good.

DH Autos in Newcastle , Staffs has everything in including Cayenne jackets.

Cayenne Pro

I have recently bought the Cayenne Pro suit. It seems to be a better option allround than the Off Track (higher quality materials, more robust) but cricially it's not a Twat Suit (only Twatish as Waldin described it :o ).

I'm very happy with the looks and fit. I wore it to Baskerville hall where I got rained on a bit and remained dry. Not worn it in a downpour yet.

I'd buy any suit with layers to be snug with everything in. Where the Cayenne Pro scores over the Twat is having adjustability for when you take the layers out. That way you can stop it flapping but still have the air flow. :thumb2
