Revolution v Genesis

I've done a search and the reading but am still a bit mystified. Can someone let me know what the difference is between the Remus Genesis and Revolution. The Remus website doesn't seem to help much either.

Also apart from looks is there any meaningful difference between the carbon ,titanum etc.

i believe the 'genesis' is for older models ie: 1100's and the 'revolution' is for newer ones like the 1150? but someone will no doubt know better/different?

Revolution has removable baffle for 'track use only'
Genesis doesn't, I recall a posting saying the genesis had a deeper note but that could have been because the poster was selling it !
Only difference as far a finish is the weight and the fact that alu is 'a bugger to clean' apparently.
Not sure of a weight difference between genesis and revolution but all are going to be seriously lighter than the lead lined std can.

Nope. The Genesis is for 1150s, same as the Revolution. It's just earlier, and does not have the removeable baffle, therefore, it came in two versions: road legal and not.

Agree with the above.................
Revolution has removable baffle
Baffle in = Road legal
Baffle out = Track only (Ahem)
Genesis 2 versions available, road legal with baffle,
Track only without baffle
Genesis looks similar to the Revolutuion but sounds way better,
unlike the shitty band of the same name

when you say the Genesis sounds better do you mean the road legal one sounds better than the Revolution with the baffle in?

I need a road legal one as I do a lot of commuting.

My road legal Revolution with baffle fitted sounds as loud as Animal's illegal Genesis. It sounds slightly less deep.
It DOESNT sound worse tho.
