I posted this in the "Technical" section, but then I thought, "hmmm.... Innovators! Now those are the guys I need!" so I'm posting here too. I understand that BTBR is a whizz with wires and a soldering iron, I wonder if he would be intrested in a little project?
As some of you will know, yours truly had a bit of an accident 2 1/2 months ago during which my right hand was crushed. The end result is a reconsructed thumb which is missing the end 1/3 and it is much larger and bulkier, but worse still, as it was so badly damaged, it has 4 K wires through the two remaining joints and it is rigid.
I have visited this website and there appears to be a solution to my problem of operating the indicators on the right-hand bar. The solution for me would be to fit a new switch on the left hand bar. Unfortunately, I am not an electrician, auto or otherwise, so, is there anyone out there who would be willing to do a nice professional job for me? I still can't ride my bike yet, but I am aiming to be back on two wheels early September. Any takers or other (serious) suggestions or solutions? Thanks!
