This was purchased for me in a hurry last week for a track day with mandatory brake lever guards. (Pesky nuisance for road bikes)
It was aimed at a tubular handlebar, using hollow sleeves and collets, but my RS12 - and maybe most current BMWs - have a solid looking bar end with an 8mm hole in the end.
A quick tackle with a Dremel and an 8mm drill resulted in the guard happily fitting the bar end after removing the OEM bar end weight.
Followed by a successful track session.
It's plastic btw.
I won't need it again. It may be of use to someone here.
