I have the opportunity to sell these Rhino Cams and I am posting here to see what interest there would be!

The camera is HD (720p) and is fully waterproof up to 3 metres, so it is perfect for use on the bike even in the lashing rain :thumb2

A nice little feature of this camera is the laser, which you use to line up the camera to what you at looking at, so you know you will be recording what you what to see and not the sky for instance!

But the best thing about the Rhino Cam for me is the remote control. I have it attached to my key ring so i can start and stop the recording while I am riding with out having to stop :clap

I would be asking for £90 and that includes P&P to the UK&Ireland

Anyway here is a sample video (make sure you watch it in 720p) and the technical jargon below!

A couple of questions:

How long does the battery last?

Is the battery in-built, or removable?

Can it do single shot, for a timelapse effect?

Can it be configured on its own, or does it have to be connected to a PC?

TVM :thumb2

The battery should last around 2hrs and is removable. I have looked on amazon and you get an extra battery for around a fiver.

You can configure all the settings from the camera, no computer required.

Unfortunately it does not have a time lapse option.

I am defo intirested when will it be available ?

That's the strangest sounding motorcycle that I have ever heard :nenau
Clear image though

count me in, i was just about to press the 'buy it now' on a go pro hd, when will they be available? can you charge the batts from the usb?

Ok thanks for the interest so far guys, ill try answer your questions.

No it isn't possible to power from the bike i am afraid

As for the comment on the sky/clouds yes they are over exposed as it was a bright day and the majority of the image was the landscape/road so that was what the camera was exposing correctly. GoPro prob would be better in this area but then at £200 pounds it would need to be lol over all I was really surprise at the quality of the image for such a reasonable price.

It doesn't mention whether or not the remote is waterproof but i did hold mine under the tap there and pressed the buttons while still wet and it is still working. Don't no if it would work submerged under water but def seems to be shower proof anyway.

Yes you can connect the charger to the mains or the usb on the computer to charge the battery.

I think what i will do is get a small batch of 7 units in and see how it goes from there, I should have them in about 10 days time.

Once i get them I will let you know!

!

If it is charged via a normal USB connection at the computer end would it be possible to set up a cigarette lighter outlet with the USB connection as is used to charge an iPhone.

Or maybe there's a waterproof door that needs closing.

Yes it would be possible to do it this way but as you can see in the photo it means the back flap needs to be left open, which would let water get in.

Will do Brendan! Also i was thinking with that usb cigarette lighter plug, you could use that to charge a spare battery on the bike
