Bike 4 days old, 120 miles. Refuelled, went to start up and this text popped up. Turned off started again text was back. Once on the move it disappeared. Got home turned off the engine. Started the bike up again an hour later.
No text
Anyone experienced this? I assume it went in some sort off reboot mode and cleared? Will contact the dealer tomorrow.

I had that message on mine - at about 5000 miles. The dealer replaced the fuel pump.

What sat nav is that? Does it work with the wheel?

I saw on Facebook someone had that error on tour in Germany. They were told by the dealer after they spoke with BMW that a software update is imminent for that error. It does relate to the fuel pump but it’s not a physical fault apparently

I had that a couple of time in 4500 miles, it can relate to near enough anything, you’ll only know what it is if its connected to the BM computer (if its actually log the fault that is).

Had it 3 times now on my 1250. It usually happens as you stop the engine. The message is still on your bike hidden deep in the TFT thingy.
Incidentally, I don’t think it’s related to fuel level as this time it came on with 80+ miles left in the tank.

I posted a link on here a week or so ago for a video where an American BMW tech had found battery terminal issues on a number of bikes, which was flashing up engine error massages.

No Bluetooth and it doesn’t work with the wheel. However is solid piece of kit. I am on the second unit, lost the first one

I’m sure it’s nothing , but let us know how you get on at the dealer? They should be giving priority to you as it’s only a four day old machine. You didn’t fancy the keyless model ? To be honest I thought that was a std thing now on the 1250 wasn’t aware it was an option .

I had this message on my 1250 GSA after pulling over somewhere in Switzerland a few weeks and about 1000 miles back. Disappeared on start up and has never reappeared. Had the SOS function warning at the same time and I was in a gorge of sorts so wondered if it was related to lack of signal. TBH I'd forgotten about it until I saw this post.

You didn’t fancy the keyless model ? To be honest I thought that was a std thing now on the 1250 wasn’t aware it was an option .

The bike is completely standard model, I added cruise control and heated grips. The bike now comes from factory with LED lights, TFT screen and Hill Start. Less things to go wrong...allegedly

Had that on my 1250 GSA Exclusive fuel pump replaced too. When plugged in at BMW said fuel pump error, message did not go away until dealer cleared it. To be fair dealer were belt and braces and could not have done more at Carlisle.

Having now ridden just over 3,000 miles the bike had been stored at work over the weekend, on Monday I got it out and drove it around the car park before parking up. A few hours later I jumped on to ride the 3 miles home.

To be greeted by the display of doom.

BMW emergency came out, gave it a nasty stare before loading it up for return to the dealer. I phoned the dealer today who confirmed they had checked it out and given it a software update.

The bike is being returned tomorrow.

Because it says it’s safe to ride to the dealer (carefully) on the display. Seems a bit of a hassle to get it recovered to the dealer just for a software update.

Surely if it was unsafe to ride, there would be a DO NOT RIDE message flash up?

Because BMW give you a nice car to hoon around in for the weekend
