Ride from Fort Bill

Hmmm...might be a bit late for lunch as well.....try the Aros Centre just south of Portree....coffee, soup and mac cheese.....cheapskates.....

While we are on the subject of Scotland and in particular Skye i thought i might mention The Dunollie Hotel Broadford; The Mrs. and i along with GSAMARK (of this parish) and his Mrs. stayed there earlier this year and we unanimously thought it shite. We had to Que to complain and in that (long) Que was a very unhappy Hotel Inspector (as it happened). Be warned people.

If you're in Fort Bill looking for a diversion for an hour or two ride from Spean Bridge to Newtonmore - coffee and reverse. A cracking road, brilliant ride

While I'm at it - any suggestions in Fort Bill for accommodation - Premier Inn looks OK :nenau

I'd give a thumbs-up for Stronchreggan B&B, about a mile south of FW centre. Modern, clean and comfortable accommodation. Accommodating hosts. But it fills up in May if the ISDT is on (then again, so does every spare room in F Willy that week...).

It's the. SSDT that's Scottish not that International.

Pre65 in early May, then straight after the SSDT for 6 days
Fort William is manic for the first 10 days of May every year & so are all the roads in the locality

Great event though, I'm going again

Complain, that's just normal Scottish hospitality
