Yeah, yeah, I know you lot only get to see me when I want something nowadays, but it's for a very good cause.

Anyway, cut to the chase...........

There is a ride out on 4th. March in aid of this little guy Now I don't know him or his family but it just sort of touched me and I thought that you lot may be interested in joining in. Now I know Swansea is a little far for most of you to come for a ride out but I also know that a lot of you are caring, sharing people at heart and there may be tossers in South Wales who would like to offer support.

The details are meet up between 9:00 and 10:00am at McDonalds on Fabian Way on the A483 just outside Swansea. The cost is £5.00 for a rider and £10.00 for rider and pillion. The route is from Swansea to Ammanford and up to Builth Wells before heading back. Every motorcyclist is welcome from L plated riders to the Ducati Panigale rider gods and every flavour in between.

If you can't make it then maybe a donation might be a nice gesture.

I don't know the little guy either but through the rugby club my son-in-law plays for, and to which I give a little sponsorship (Bargoed RFC), I have been approached to give something for a prize in a raffle being organised to raise money for him.

I have offered a pair of full hospitality tickets (inc food, drink and meet team members) to the Newport Gwent Dragons vs Leinster rugby game on the 5th May as a raffle prize (I have a box at Rodney Parade).

When the tickets become available I'll offer them up for sale on here if anyone's interested.

Yes, I have the nod, just two things though.
1. Nieces 18th Birthday that day, it will be celebrated on the Monday (so
I'm told, as she is 18 and she can do what she wants :nenau women)
2. Fences, mine blew down, and is well rotten so I have promised Mel that I will do it the first weekend available. Sunny this weekend :friday:beer: BEAT England :dragon :D:D::JB:JB:JB:JB:JB:JB:JB :D :P too. So next weeknd, ish, is booked.

If I cant make it I will give you the petrol money :thumb

Ride out

Sorry Mike, can't make the ride out as I will be offshore.
Be glad to make a donation though.
Let me know how you can collect.
Phil

The ride out today went well, somewhere over 70 bikes took part with an estimated £800.00 plus collected on the day.

We went from McDonalds on Fabian Way, Swansea, to Abergavenny bus station for a coffee/comfort stop then on to Builth Wells before heading back to the West End Cafe at Llandovery and over the Black Mountains and home.

We had 4 seasons in one day with sunshine, rain, sleet and a couple of hail showers too but a good ride-out was had by all with a few "L" riders taking part including a couple on twist 'n go scooters alongside everything up to several chopped Harleys and lots of sports bikes but only 1 GS, (a R1150GS) so well done Paul :thumb

For those who are still keen to donate, here's the link to the website.
