Thanks for back marking Dave - and for not losing anyone

Conditions were a bit changeable to say the very least! Started off almost dry and we chased the rain which could be seen falling where we were heading. A couple of showers amounted to nothing. Breakfast at the Clifftop Cafe was almost taken off the plate by the wind and sipping tea had your brew spraying the person down wind (sorry Rory). Riding towards Hythe there was quite a downpoor but fortunately quite short.

Run up to Newchurch and a stop at the grave of Pilot Officer Arthur William Clarke. For details of the that brave young man click on the link.

Then running cross country to Maidstone through rain and cloudy and then a nice get warm and have a drink stop at the Old Plantation, Bearsted. The landlord Nigel is an ex tosser and made us very welcome.
