Ride out to Aldeburgh next Wednesday 5th August

Great to see everyone today, and I really feel like I have got over my minor mishap at the weekend now. Had a nice ice cream at Shotley on the way home to round off a cracking 200 mile ride. :thumb

Mark quite liked being a Tosser for the day too, and I reckon he will be along again.

Take care,

Matt

What he said - but I had my icecream at Beccles.

NB Monty - that was your 'Spartan' post

Next time out?

Great ride out today.Good to touch base with a few faces again.

Thanks for the back road route up there Charlie.A bit more interesting than the A12 on the way home.(3hrs 40 up there.1hr 15 home!!)Thanks to Richard for posting route.
Hope Rory enjoyed the ride but more importantley the ice cream :thumb
Thanks all.

Nice to meet up with you Tossers again. :D

Great day DRZ motarding around the lanes till entering Framlingham. :eek

"Thats 41 in a 30 sir"

Errr, oh so thats why you stopped me. Sorry.

"Been stopped for speeding before ?"

No, not been stopped for over 30 years. Yes I have a clean licence.

"Well, we have checked your bike out and its all legal but why do you have a small number plate under this one ?"

Well thats for winter when I put the offroad wheels on and play offroad, saves breaking big plates all the time when I fall off. Which is quite often.

"Hmm, where are you going ?"

Aldeburgh to meet up with some mates for lunch.

"Well I live in Aldeburgh so keep your speed down when you get there ok.
Now you have the right attitude and your bikes legal so take this as a warning and slow down in future, now be on your way"

Thank you.

I like Suffolk Police people. :clap:clap

Top day in spite of the sat nav gremlins on the way there. Similar short route back to Coggeshall after ice creams in Aldeburgh (double rhubarb scoop in a wafer cone :thumb)

Rory had a top day in spite of the intercom only working one way - I could hear him chuntering all day, he couldn't hear me telling him to shut up, stop wriggling on round abouts, stop singing etc. He almost nodded off a couple of times on the way home.

We have just returned from Colchester after picking up daughter Daisy from a gig at the Civic Arts Centre. Fish and Chips followed by ice cream didn't stop Rory lowering a huge garlic bread and a pizza - he seems to have inherited my like for food, if not my physique (yet)!
