Ride to BMW Motorrad Days 2014 - 29 June

Me and a couple of mates are heading down to the BMW Motorrad Days 2014 event in Garmisch.

We're heading down on 29 June, they via Portsmouth and me via Calais and will join up somewhere en route between Bourges, Annecy, Andermatt and Merano (my plan is still to be firmed up! ) and will stay in Garmisch for the Motorrad Show (4-6 July) - my missus will fly down to meet us there just for the weekend. We'll head back on 6 July via Ulm (short ride) , Mulhouse, Strasbourg, Vedun and Abberville after which they'll head for Le Havre and I'll head back up to Calais. We'll be using ETAP motels en route, riding BMW 1200 GSA and KTM 1190 Adventure bikes and taking in some historic military PoIs.

Accommodation in Garmisch - Motorrad Days

Anyone need accommodation in Garmisch during the Motorrad Days event 6-8 July 2014? Drop me a line, looks like we'll have a bed or two going cheap!

Finally got my route sorted, Calais, Arnhem, Mohne Dam (Dambusters), Dresden, Prague, Dachau and then Garmisch for Motorrad Days - anyone spot the theme?! Return route as stated in first thread. Feel free to tag long or meet for beer and chat etc.

You're kidding me mermoto, on a Vespa! Surely you should've left by now! If you get there I feel I should buy you a beer - or an ice pack!

Have a good trip mate, will miss you as we are going out on the 10th July, try and take in the Documentation Centre in Obersalzberg, quite interesting if you like historical military sites.
