I have recently aquired a late 2003 1150 Adventure which I am in the process of tidying at the moment.

My question is the clock in the drivers display unit only works when the ignition is on, which is a pain to reset all the time.

I am sure this is not normal and can only think that it has something to do with the Datatool3 alarm system that is fitted.

Fuse 3 is OK and there is power to the fuse.

Any pointers would be welcome.

Many thanks

Heard this one from a wise sage today: disconnect the battery for five to ten minutes and it should be fine then.

It's got something to do with resetting the Motronic.

Easier to pull fuse 5, does the same thing.

Had this problem and it was the fuse (must be 5 I guess) blown, new fuse no problems!
