Out on the bike on Sunday , Sunderland>Rothbury>Seahouses for chips then home via the fantastic coastal route. now to the point, found some little buttons on the handlebars and pressed them for the first time, went from road/soft settings to hard/dynamic which strangely gave me a much smoother and a more planted ride even on potholed and rutted back roads. Confusing! as I thought the soft setting would give me a better ride on the rough. Iam not complaining, loving the bike even more. ps a special mention to the twat in a red Nissan that decided to change lanes without looking and nearly had me into central barrier. sods law you are not allowed to have only good riding experiences

They do make a difference don't they A lot also depends on your speed. Comfort great till you up the pace and then I find the bike wallows. Glad you like the change.

Took my son (15 & strong build) out on the GSA for the first time at the weekend so I decided to try the different modes.
First off, rode with the settings as 2up 'soft'. Found that the bike felt too spongy so changed it on the fly to 'normal'. What a change of character. The bike felt so much more sure footed on bends and through dips. I was also very surprised as to how it rode over the bumps and holes. Not quite sure how 'hard' mode will feel as I didn't bother trying it..... next time maybe.
Sunday went out with friends so changed to single with luggage and 'normal' rather than 'soft'. It really does make a difference which I was pleasantly surprised at. :beerjug:
