hi chap's
it was a great day as you can see from the piccies 6 of us on GS's turned up 3 had never been off-road before we had a nice steady ride along the ridgeway, starting from ashdown nr. blewbury when we got to the monument there was a bunch of guys on enduro bikes who were really shocked to see GS's up there they looked a bit sheepish if you ask me:D we carried on from there and the pace upped a bit as everyone got more confident there was no mud and the surface was nice and hard. there was a couple of slow speed tip offs on the grassy bits. just as we got to the half way point gary had a bit of a spill and dinged his tank a little bit (he has already posted his photos) we stopped at the pub and had a loverley cold pint of cyder and a sarnie 3 of the chaps had to go home then so the remining three carried on down to avebury the trail from the pub to avebury is a little bit trickier and less maintained but still very do-able as you can see from the photos. after 46miles of searching mr pickford finally found some mud to throw himself into in a vain attempt to impress the two women ramblers passing by at the time and failing miserabley (photos on previous thread) a good time was had by all, will have another go later in the year ...............loz

Hi linelizard, I really enjoyed the last one and i'm definitely up for another go, as long as the going is good to firm.
