Riding gear (Trousers) help!!!

Hello Lads!

Which riding gear do you use?

Yesterday was around +20C, I drove 470km and my arse was roasted
I feel me self like in owen!!!

I use Lookwell gear. It's good for winter, but uncomfortable now.


What can you reccomend?

Is BMW Savanna gear good for whole year?

I have the Rallye 2 suit and it's comfortable in warm weather (plenty of zips to open up and let air in) as well as cold, not sure on the savannah, but someone will advise ...

I have the HG Gortex Rally Suit. It's fine up to around 30c. The jacket has vents in the front, sleeves and back but, the trousers don't actually have any vents. It's fine down to freezing with the lining in. However, it was 42c in Croatia a couple of years ago and I melted wearing it. The mesh jackets are great for really hot weather. I had a 'Spidi' one a few years ago in KL but, I'm not sure if they do trousers.

Savannah - great from spring to autumn but not warm enough for winter. I wear my Atlantis trousers all year round, with Savannah jacket when warm - still hot in real hot weather but ok for most of your average Brit summer.

I have the Savanna suit and I like it a lot when it's a bit hot out - very porous outer layer to let the breeze through when liner is removed and plenty of vents to unzip. Though as GSAde mentioned, it's not really warm enough for winter unless you layer it a bit with an underjacket or woolly pully - the Goretex liner may be water and windproof but it's not very snuggly warm if you get my meaning.

Bear in mind the liners are sold as separate items from the jacket and trousers so allow for that when pricing up.

Very hard wearing fabric (Dynatec) with plenty of reflective bits so it gets my vote from a safety point of view
