Right hand side pillon foot-peg

Hi all,

unfortunately i have to change my username to alhths_new (from alhths) as i have forgotten the password and I don't remember the email i have used to register in the first place.

So hello to everybody from the old times.

I am the owner of a R1150GS adv and I have broken my right-hand side pillion foot-peg clean of the base. I am looking for advice where to get a replacement and also if anybody know the price of the damn thing. If anybody has one for sale please contact me as well

I presume you are talking about the cast alloy foot rest hanger that bolts onto the steel "loop" of the rear sub frame - if so they are about £40 from your local dealer unless "Steptoe" of your local parish has one.

Hi, Thats exactly the one i mean, mine has the bit to use with the plastic panniers as well. I hope its the same price. Thanks for the reply

It looks like it minus the silver bit on the top. From what year model is this? mine is a '03 adv.

the one in the photo off a 2002 gs adventure, i thought they all had the unfinished silver bit on them. i do have one that is all black due to being powder coated if that's of interest?

I presume the "all black" one you have is with the foot-peg and the panier rest (as per photo). Let me know how much you want for it plus postage to Kingston-upon-themes (KT1).

thanks for the drawing. i was looking for this. I will try my local dealer. I need the whole assembly as the footpeg was sheared off together with a piece of the aluminum plate and never found it.
