On the 9th February this year I bought a comms system. I reported this as being faulty on the 11th May and the dealer said I had to return it for testing.
This I did the next day.
Am I within my rights to reject it and request a refund.

No, your outside the 30 day rejection window,
But the above doc should provide all the answers

Your consumer rights are not affected and as it's unreasonable to have a faulty unit so soon after purchase, your rights cover you to a repair or replacement (supplier though can decide which). This is the contract between you and the supplier, and his contract is with the manufacturer, who holds the same discretion.
