Finally found a reasonably idiot proof programme to convert DVD to ipod with one click- so no more farting about decrypting and what have you.

So I convert one DVD no problem and even manage to transfer it to the ipod without melting my brain or the computer.

So far so good.

Next I try to convert David Gilmour live in concert ( again) and the music is almost inaudible with a very intrusive hissing and crackling over it- as it is with other programmes I've tried to convert this DVD with.

Any hints as to how to get this on to my ipod

So if it worked with the first DVD presumably some aspect of the second DVD is different ?

No other suggestions except buy a Mac

Copy protection? DVD43 running might sort it.

Also, is the ipod version on the PC OK? Look at it with Quicktime.
