Any one used these, any good ?.
They are rather smart 4" Dia driving lamps with an outter ring of light for daytime running.
£49.99 at halfords.

Or do I stay with the hella FF55?

thanks

Gary

Yeah I saw those too and was tempted.........even if it might be a bit tarty to go with a light function that BMW made their own on the cages......

In the end I got a set of the twin superbright LED lights (25 quid including wiring kit relay etc etc) cos the LED's are brighter than the 'angel eye' effect.....

"Ring are well know in the UK for their budget to midrange lighting. The range carried here are a good selcetion of this years models. Everything you need to make life a little brighter, whilts not going over the top on price! The Delux LED Cruise-Lite are power packed halogen sub bumper light with two super bright LED sidelights. "

That from the first place i found them on google.....HERE

I've yet to see them on the bike....they're being fitted at the moment and I don't pick it up 'till Thursday butI have a couple of the new superbright LED torches and they're bloody good.....low power consumption and very bright, without (hopefully) being offensively glaring to oncoming traffic.
This kit comes with all the gubbins inside and for 25 quid seemed good value to me.

I'll post pics when she arrives :D

Looks good, be interesting to see how they perform. Ive ordered a set of the Hellas from "Big Trail Bike Rider" the rings might complement them well. Look forward to the pics of them on the bike.

whooaaa Dude

There is some serious stuff on that web site dance pize dance pize dance pize dance pize dance pize :dance

Just what I needed...

I fitted a set of the Ring Micro Cruise-Lite on a custom milled Alu lightbar. They're bloody bright lights (55w H7's I think) and quite small.
On an quiet road they do make the bike very noticable, but they have a very wide flood, so they aren't great for lighting.

I find they are less noticable in evening traffic. They just don't attact enough attention with all the other similar colour lights around.

I put Blue LED's on the last bike I had, and this seemed to get the attention of dozing drivers. Looked a bit boy racer-ish and tacky buy certantly got attention.

I think I'll get a pair of the lights with LED's. Blue is best to get attention, but the White is also quite noticable.(Like those Cateye LED lights on bicycles).

I thought you guys in UK had hassle with the Law using Led's though... Other option is to paint your Aux lights yellow, just like your Dad did 20 years ago when you went on holiday to france..
Yellow doens't look cool... Buy it stands out.
