Visiting the NEC yesterday and came across the Infinity stand, whilst chatting to one of the salesmen i politely enquired as to the price for a storm collar for a armas jacket.
A short game of "how much do you think it costs" ensued. HE won, they retail at £135 each. Thats of course if you can get your hands on one, the're rarer than unicorns, hens teeth and the ubiquitous rocking horse excrement all rolled into one.
I know the old addage you get what you pay for, but still.

Assuming - You shouldn't be loosing one in the first place.

I"ve saved my self a £275 on ArmaS Jacket at their stand, the only annoyance is that I couldn't use my ClubInfinity card to gain points.

Every other vendor manages to design waterproof jackets without "storm collars"
It seems to me bulky and well.....unnecessary!

Easy solution, beyond not losing the detachable collar in the first place:

Buy a secondhand jacket with its detachable storm collar.

Keep the collar and sell the jacket on.

With luck, you might even make a few quid on the way through.

Thinking outside the box; it's the Adventure (with a capital A) way.

i have never got on with the storm collar from my armas, sits on a shelf in the garage so it does unused and unloved

Your advertising skills are not that great. You only have to beat the OP's rant price of £135 and he'll think he's nabbed himself a bargain.

Big up, as they say (apparently) the excellent and unused storm collar that you have stored away carefully. Sell it to the ever so grateful bikermate... everyone wins.

Can I also dangle a carrot? I took mine off as it's purpose seems to be to slap the side of the helmet when making progress. I removed mine, yesterday after a bimble on bike without screen it's going back on with linings!

I'm sure someone will sell one on eBay, suggest you check if different sizes etc

Rukka are now made in China at probably a fifth of the cost whilst still charging a premium. I won't buy again. Although still a decent product, the quality has dropped somewhat and is no longer worth the price !

If you search bikerland.de

You can phone them if need be, they all speak good english and they're happy to negotiate over price too.

They are an official Rukka dealer.

Arma-s is, at present, the only fully CE approved textile suit, rather than just armour, in UK.

I do wish that there were more CE suits for sale in UK.

Do it quick before Article 50 is invoked :D

(thought I'd get it in quick before Enginerd comes along with his usual nonsense :blast)

The bod appears to want a neck piece, not an entire suit and preferably for less than the rip-off price of £135. Hence the question, do Bikerland do a neck piece on its own?

If, Infinity can sell the storm collar individually, then it is an item available from Rukka. As an official Rukka stockist then Bikerland will be able to get one too.

Bikerlands are normally around 2/3rds of UK price but are willing to negotiate. You may be able to get it for 50% of Infinity price.

For clarification Infinity cannot get the storm collars individually and they are one of the biggest customers for rukka in the UK. At £135 or even at half price the storm collar isn't worth the money. My wife's knickers have more material in them and she ain't a big women. A buff or similar item will do a better job and won't flap against your lid when moving.
If they are charging £135 for this item what else are they overcharging on, hence the rip of rukka.
