Is it possible to fit risers on a paralever GS without changing the cable or hoses.

I don’t know, never tried to fit risers, but if you’re going for straight up risers as opposed to up and back, I’d be tempted to say ‘yes’. I’ve fitted taller and wider bars and there was enough in the original cables and as importantly, the switch gear cables.

Have tried both up and back, and straight up risers on the R1300GS. Both work (separately) with the existing cables - no way you'd be able to stack them. Mine are 40mm up 30mm back.

Pretty sure they are slightly different bar and cable set up than a 1300.

Evotech do straight up ones and offset ones. Tried them both, settled on the offset ones.

Thanks for the info Sir

For the OP
I have 20mm risers ( straight up) on my R80GS basic, and no problems with cables, or wiring.
I originally put 30mm risers on ( same, no problems with cables or wiring) but decided that 30mm was too high for me..

I have a pair of 30mm risers that fit the R80GS basic ( and will fit the r100gs) if you want to contact me via PM.

Thank you, I had 15-20mm in my head as about the right height, I think 30 will be too high. I am concerned that the handguards might hit the screen on full lock tho.

i also went with the Evotech 40 up 30 back but i get the impression theres a bit of tightness on full lock either way . Is there any slack to be got in the cables and if so how or where do you free the cables
